A message from Rev. Nathan Gladish:
Throughout the grand Bible narrative, we read one story after another of people and groups experiencing miraculous life changes. In the Psalms, David affirms, “O Lord my God, I cried out to You, and You healed me” (Psalm 30:2). In the Gospels, one man whose life suddenly and dramatically improved went home to his friends to “tell them what great things the Lord did for him and how He had compassion on him” (Mark 5:19, 20). And the teachings of the New Church explain that “All the miracles mentioned in the Word contain within them such matters as have to do with the Lord, heaven, and the church. This is what makes them Divine miracles” (Doctrine of the Sacred Scripture 17:4).
One lasting message of these miracle stories is that the Lord is persistent and pervasive in His efforts to help each of us grow personally and encourage healthy relationships with one another.
